♥♥♥ Well as you can see, I love to raise fowls ever since I was a little girl and since I been introduced to them from my parents. I guess being raised in a asian family, chickens are very very common :P so yeah I'm used to it. Well I was born in California, been living in this state ever since 87' and loves everything about it, no regrets. I have been raising chickens, but these are actually my first two, I got a rooster and a hen from my mom, though I am planning to get more to start my own roosts, eheh. Guess it's what my parents always says, "its very addicting raising chickens" haha, and it is very, very, true. I guess its just the fact that watching them ranging, chasing each other, and have no care in the world, just very soothing to watch and enjoy. But I'm only really into raising orientals fowls, because like I said, been introduced to oriental fowls only, but I really love their unique personality and their beautiful looks. My mom's chicken is the best for our traditional party dinners, she has a lot of people who usually buys her chickens and is always on her waiting lists to buy her newest one. So I guess that bug must of gotten into me, it's just not the selling these fowls, but knowing the fact that sharing these breeds with other people is most grateful joy in the world, because we all don't know how many actually exist in this world and knowing that these breeds won't end up in the endangered zone. These fowls get a bad reputation for just being a "cock fighter", they can be more than that. No exotic breeds or any other breed doesn't beat these fowls, I have seen many different kinds of chicken/fowls, and it doesn't compare to these fowls. They may not have the egg quantities that you would want to eat, but they are good for meat. When you learn more and more about them, they become something more then just being a chicken to fight or to eat, they become a unique beauty that nothing comes close to it, they had become something more then just a hobby :) ♥♥♥
